Welcome to the home page of the Blyth Valley Radio Model Club (B.V.R.M.C.).

Our Club has been established for in excess of 30 years and our flying field is an excellent facility with superb access situated at Meggies Burn, Blyth, Northumberland. We are affiliated with the British Model Flying Association (B.M.F.A.) and hold one of the largest memberships in the UK (typically in excess of 150 members).

We promote safe model flying (both fixed wing and helicopter) and encourage our members to participate in the B.M.F.A. proficiency schemes.

The size of our membership reflects the popularity of the club, indeed we have an excellent reputation for helping newcomers and with many very experienced members, helping each other alike!

With a minimum of flying rules (common sense and safety orientated) the club has a relaxed atmosphere with a lot of friendly banter!

Although the club site is dedicated only for Radio Controlled (RC) Flying (and occasional control line flying), many of our members are involved in all disciplines of modelling including RC Cars, RC Boats and even commercial model making.

If you wish to join the B.V.R.M.C. or have any enquiries, please contact our Honorary Treasurer, Mr Craig Carr via email to enquiries@bvrmc.org.uk.

Please take some time to browse our website and we hope that you enjoy your visit and find the information of interest.
